Debate on grades should be abolished. But it s also deeply entrenched. The current grading system should be upgraded and every school should incorporate the plus. Grades should not be abolished because of the valuable lessons that come with them 1 grades train students to answer succinctly to the given questions instead of being lengthy or going out of point. Letter grades provide motivation and goals.

Instead students should try to understand difficult concepts. Not only this but grades t. They say you re here and here s where you have to go to achieve the next level there s little or no ambiguity because letter grades are consistent and easy to understand. The strongest argument in favor of keeping grades around is the fact that it would take an absolutely enormous amount of infrastructural and systemic change in american education to come up with let alone implement something new.

They will start to memorise the key points instead of the whole textbook as they get accustomed to viewing the straightforward answers.
